Family Background

Hailing from the illustrious Chendamangalam village in Ernakulam district, Kerala, Dr. Shimi Ben.C.J comes from a lineage deeply rooted in traditional Ayurvedic practices. This legacy of healing and wellness has been passed down through generations, setting the foundation for her journey in the realm of Ayurveda.

Ancestral Lineage

Dr. Shimi Ben.C.J's family lineage is graced by the presence of revered ancestors who were esteemed vaidyans - the masters of Ayurvedic vital point therapy. Her paternal grandfather  Sri. Chalakkal Unnira Vaidyar, and maternal grandfather , Sri. Vadakkekkara Kuttappan Vaidyar, were luminaries in the field, carrying forward the ancient wisdom of Marma therapy.

Parental Guidance

Nurtured by the wisdom and expertise of her parents, Dr. C.O. Janardhanan and Dr. V.K. Omana, both accomplished Ayurvedic physicians, Dr. Shimi Ben.C.J was immersed in the rich heritage of Ayurveda from a young age. Their guidance and teachings have played a pivotal role in shaping her profound understanding of Ayurveda.
